What will you learn?
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development to understand basic principles of scuba diving
- Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
- Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore!
What scuba gear will you use?
In the PADI Open Water Diver course you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, wetsuit and a cylinder which is all provided by Scuba Evolution. The equipment you wear varies depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical, temperate or cold water.
Contact Scuba Evolution about the gear you’ll use during this course and get advice about everything you need from your PADI Instructor.
What about Divers Alert Network membership?
We make sure you are safe from your very first breath underwater as a scuba diver. Scuba Evolution offers its students free DAN student membership from your first pool session to the qualifying dive or for a duration of six weeks. As an entry-level diver, you often are not aware of all the safety aspects and possible risks associated with scuba diving.
How can you start learning now?
Contact Scuba Evolution to enroll in the course, get your materials and start reading the Open Water Manual and watching the Open Water video. Your PADI Instructor will then meet with you to schedule knowledge review sessions along with your Confined and Open Water Dives.
