Duralac is a jointing compound used to seal joints between dissimilar metals of every type, including magnesium and its alloys. It is also used where the same metal sits in contact with itself under different stresses or in an electrolyte of varying concentration, and it protects metal touching wood, synthetic resin compositions, leather, rubber and fabrics. Typical uses include aluminium alloy plates, extrusions, bolts and rivets, general engineering where mixed metals cannot be avoided, vehicle building where aluminium meets steel, marine applications where brine speeds corrosion, structures close to the sea, and aerospace rivets into aluminium. The contact faces are treated with the compound before assembly. This 115 ml tube is the green version. It suits boat builders, engineers and owners fitting mixed-metal hardware.

Features

Type: anti-corrosive jointing compound

Colour: green

Pack size: 115 ml tube

Use: joints between dissimilar metals, including magnesium alloys

Also protects: metal in contact with wood, resin, leather, rubber, fabric

Typical uses: marine, building, vehicle and aerospace fastenings

What's Included

One 115 ml tube of Duralac jointing compound, green

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/1730/8473/files/duralac-anti-corrosive-jointing-compound-green-115ml-tube.jpg?v=1794040724
