goiot-fibreglass-deck-filler-diesel
Fibreglass Deck Filler Diesel

Description

This fibreglass deck filler is a fuel filler cap for the deck of a boat, marked Diesel on the cap so the right tank always gets the right fuel. The cap recess is reinforced with an aluminium coating, which allows an opening key or winch handle to be used on it without any risk of distorting the cap. Fibreglass is a sensible material for a fitting that lives in sun, salt and spilt fuel, and the round cap sits neatly in the deck. The maker builds its fibreglass deck fillers with or without a hose stopper, a feature that stops the hose entering too deeply into the tank and so avoids overpressure that could burst or crack it. The cut-out size, hose size and whether this version has a hose stopper are not published, so check the fitting against the deck before ordering. It suits a boat owner replacing a worn filler or adding a clearly marked diesel filling point.

Features

Marking: Diesel

Material: fibreglass

Cap recess: aluminium coated for key or winch handle use

Hose stopper: offered across the range, not stated for this version

Use: deck fuel filler

What's Included

One diesel deck filler

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/1730/8473/files/goiot-fibreglass-deck-filler-diesel-1.jpg?v=1794041372
