goiot-fibreglass-deck-filler
Fibreglass Deck Filler

Description

A deck filler is the cap on a boat's deck that gives access to a fresh water tank or a waste tank, and it has to stay watertight while being opened and closed many times. This Goiot fibreglass deck filler has a cap recess reinforced with an aluminium coating, so an opening key or winch handle can be used on the cap safely and without risk of the recess being distorted. The deck filler is marked WATER or WASTE on the cap, so the two tanks are not confused at the dock, and the two versions are sold as options of the same product. The maker says the water deck filler is available with or without a hose stopper, which prevents the hose from entering the tank too deeply and so avoids over-pressure and possible tank bursting or cracking. Whether the water version supplied has the hose stopper is not stated in the maker's data, so that should be confirmed before ordering. It suits boat owners fitting or replacing tank deck fillers.

Features

Material: fibreglass with aluminium-coated cap recess

Type: deck filler

Versions: Water and Waste (marked on cap)

Cap recess takes opening key or winch handle

Hose stopper: available on the water version, confirm before ordering

What's Included

One deck filler in the version chosen
