kinzi-double-locking-safety-hook
Double Locking Safety Hook

Description

This double locking safety hook is a cast stainless steel hook with a gate that has two locking actions, so it cannot be opened by accident, for example if a line is dragged across it or the load shifts. It is used for safety lines, tethers, lanyards and lifting or lashing points where a hook that stays closed matters more than one that opens in one move. The hook is cast in AISI 316 stainless steel, and the surface is electro polished for a bright finish that resists corrosion in salt water. It has a large eye at the base for fitting a line, webbing or shackle. The standard safety factor is a working load of one quarter of the breaking load. The overall size and the breaking load are not listed in the supplier data, so confirm the rating before it is used for a safety-critical connection. It suits a boat owner wanting a secure clip for deck gear.

Features

Material: AISI 316 stainless steel, cast

Gate: double locking action

Finish: electro polished

Eye: large, at the base

Working load: one quarter of the breaking load (standard safety factor)

What's Included

One double locking safety hook
