This Kinzi snap hook is forged from AISI316 stainless steel (DIN 1.4408) and electro polished for a smooth, bright, corrosion-resistant finish. It is sold in 6 and 8 mm sizes. The maker notes that the standard safety factor for working load is one quarter of the breaking load, which is the general rule for rigging hardware. It suits boat owners, riggers, campers and workshop users who want a marine grade clip for fenders, covers, lanyards, tool tethers and light-duty lines, and who prefer a stainless steel hook that resists salt-water corrosion and wipes clean. The maker's data gives no working load figures, so the rating for the chosen size should be confirmed before it is used for lifting or load-bearing.

Features

Material: forged AISI316 stainless steel

Finish: electro polished

Type: spring-gated snap hook

Sizes: 6 and 8 mm

Safety factor: working load is one quarter of breaking load

What's Included

One forged snap hook in the size chosen

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/1730/8473/files/kinzi-snap-hook-forged-stainless-steel.jpg?v=1794041335
