lalizas-escape15
ESCAPE-15 Emergency Escape Breathing Device

Description

Smoke below deck leaves only seconds to get out, and the Lalizas ESCAPE-15 Emergency Escape Breathing Device gives the wearer 15 minutes of steady air flow to reach open deck. It complies with the amended SOLAS chapter II-2 and IMO MSC/Circ.849, and Lalizas lists it as SOLAS and MED-MER approved. It is activated with a single move, and the universal-size full-face hood with a soft neoprene neck seal fits every face shape. The materials are flame resistant, and the silver finish reflects heat and stands out in smoke. A pressure gauge shows the cylinder state at a glance, and the cylinder refills through a standard G 5/8 valve with no adaptor. Liveaboards, commercial dive vessels and charter boats carry it in crew cabins and machinery spaces. It is an escape set for smoke-filled spaces, not a diving or firefighting apparatus. It suits vessel operators and safety officers equipping crew quarters and engine rooms.

Features

Air supply: 15 minutes of steady air flow

Compliance: amended SOLAS chapter II-2 and IMO MSC/Circ.849; SOLAS and MED-MER approved

Hood: full-face, universal size, neoprene neck seal

Activation: single movement

Gauge: pressure gauge in view

Valve: EU standard valve with G 5/8 charging thread; refills without an adaptor

Materials: flame resistant

Colour: silver, to reflect heat

Working temperature: minus 10 to 65 degrees C

Shelf life: 10 years from the cylinder manufacture date

Use: escape from smoke-filled spaces only; not for diving or firefighting
