There is no plug to align and no port cover to leave open. Both lights charge at 12.6 volts and 2 amps, taking about 2 hours 30 minutes for a full 38 watt-hour pack. It fits the D900V and D910V only.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe result is a spare that stops a trip going wrong. A proprietary charging lead is the single point of failure on a magnetically charged light, because nothing else in a dive bag will substitute for it. A second cable costs less than a lost day of filming on a liveaboard.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSupplied as the cable alone, without a mains adapter, which ships with the light. It does not fit the D950V, D630 or D860, each of which uses its own charging arrangement.
