Working pressure is 300 bar, and Miflex quote a burst pressure above 2,000 bar against the 1,250 bar that EN 250 asks for. At a dive centre, the heavier build suits hoses fitted and packed by many hands. On a wreck or cave expedition, it is meant for dives with more contact with steel and rock. On a stage cylinder, the 0.15 m length keeps a small gauge close to the first stage.
