It is set at the factory to 12 bar, but that setting can change over time and with travel and shipping, so it is user adjustable with a 3 mm hex key, between a minimum of about 6 bar and a maximum of 16 bar. It is used mainly on argon and air drysuit inflation cylinders, which have no second stage, to protect the hose and the suit from excess pressure or uncontrolled inflation.
