It is a generic pin intended for joining SPGs to HP hoses. Transmitters have their own swivel pins, and there are two different pins for transmitters depending on whether the transmitter attaches to the regulator first stage or to an HP hose first, so a transmitter should always be fitted with the pin made for its own brand and not with this one.
