scubatech-decanting-hose-1-5m
Decanting Hose 1.5 m

Description

Topping up a pony or stage cylinder from a larger one, far from a compressor, is a routine job on expeditions and remote coastal trips. This Scubatech decanting hose joins two cylinders so gas flows from the fuller one into the emptier one until the pressures equalise. The 1.5 m hose leaves room to stand both cylinders side by side on a boat deck or a tailgate, and it has a hand-wheel DIN connector at each end. The version with a pressure gauge lets the operator watch the receiving cylinder fill instead of guessing, useful for a club running a weekend of dives from one bank of cylinders. Decanting only equalises pressure and cannot boost a fill, and moving oxygen-rich mixes calls for oxygen-clean kit and proper training. The working pressure is not published, so it is worth confirming against the cylinders in use. It suits a diver or club moving gas between cylinders away from a fill station.

Features

Length: 1.5 m

Connectors: hand-wheel DIN connector at each end

Versions: with or without pressure gauge

Working pressure: not published

What's Included

Decanting hose, with a pressure gauge on the gauge version
