scubatech-finn-i-knife
Finn I Knife

Description

A knife that stays put through a giant-stride entry and comes free with one gloved hand is worth more than any spec sheet. The Finn I carries a 120 mm double-edged blade in 420 stainless steel, plain on one side and serrated on the other, with a notch near the guard for snagged monofilament. On a rocky shore dive where old fishing line collects around the reef, that notch clears a tangle without a long sawing stroke. On a boat trip with a crowded deck, the latched plastic sheath keeps the point covered while kit gets passed around, and the two straps let it ride on the calf or forearm. The steel hammer in the butt doubles as a tank banger when a buddy drifts off. The tip is pointed, so it needs care close to a drysuit or an inflated wing. It suits a diver who wants a full-size leg knife for general sea and lake diving.

Features

Blade material: 420 stainless steel

Blade: double-edged, one plain and one serrated edge, line-cutting notch

Tip: pointed

Overall length: 247 mm

Blade length: 120 mm

Handle: profiled grip with steel hammer butt

Sheath: plastic with snap latch

Mounting: two straps for leg or arm

What's Included

Finn I knife

Plastic sheath with latch

Two mounting straps
