tecline-comfort-harness-6mm-stainless-backplate
Comfort Harness with 6mm Stainless Backplate

Description

Thick undersuits and an aluminium cylinder that turns buoyant near the end of a dive can leave a drysuit diver wearing a heavy belt that drags at the hips. Tecline answer that with a 6 mm stainless steel backplate weighing 4.20 kg on its own, built into a set with the adjustable Comfort harness and a crotch strap for a total of 5.10 kg. In the water that ballast sits along the spine, over the cylinder, rather than on a belt. For a winter season of cold inland dives, the heavier plate can replace a good part of the lead a 3 mm plate would need alongside it. On a twinset the padded, adjustable Comfort harness gives a comfortable alternative to a one-piece harness while the plate adds weight. Out of the water every gram is felt, so this is a set for driving to the dive site, not for a flight with a baggage limit. It suits a cold-water diver who wants as much ballast as possible built into the rig.

Features

Harness: adjustable Comfort, standard webbing, soft shoulder pads

Backplate: 6 mm stainless steel, standard shape

Backplate weight: 4.20 kg

Backplate size: 40 x 26 cm

Diver height: Tecline recommend this plate size for divers over 170 cm

Set weight: 5.10 kg

Crotch strap: included

Wing, tank bands and single tank adapter: sold separately

What's Included

6 mm stainless steel standard backplate

Tecline Comfort harness, adjustable, standard webbing

Crotch strap

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/1730/8473/files/uprzaz-tecline-comfort-regulowana-z-plyta-nierdz_1b0fefc0-487d-49a0-94f2-85db8dcf7165.jpg?v=1790774492
