tecline-r5-tec2-regulator-with-octopus
R5 TEC2 Regulator with Octopus

Description

On a recreational rig the octopus is the part most often neglected, and it is also the one a stressed buddy will breathe hardest. This R5 TEC2 set puts a TEC2 on both hoses: a black primary on a 0.70 m black Proflex hose and a yellow octopus on a 0.90 m yellow Proflex hose, each pneumatically balanced with venturi and breathing resistance knobs, a heat exchanger and the direct flow system. They run from the R5 TEC, Tecline's black chrome diaphragm first stage with a dry chamber and cold kit and a port layout designed for clean routing, all to EN 250A, packed in a Tecline bag. That suits an instructor who needs a dependable octopus for students in cold water, a buddy team on a winter quarry weekend, and a diver on a liveaboard who wants top-grade second stages on both hoses. A pressure gauge is not included, which leaves room for a transmitter or the gauge of choice. It suits a diver who wants a premium primary and octopus from one first stage.

Features

First stage: R5 TEC balanced diaphragm, black chrome marine bronze, dry chamber and cold kit, 4 LP and 2 HP ports, 813 g

Connection: DIN, 300 bar maximum working pressure

Intermediate pressure: 9.0 bar

Primary: TEC2 second stage, black

Octopus: TEC2 second stage, yellow

Second stages: pneumatically balanced, venturi and breathing resistance knobs, heat exchanger, direct flow system, 260 g

Hoses: 0.70 m black Proflex LP, 0.90 m yellow Proflex LP

Standard: EN 250A

Pressure gauge: sold separately

What's Included

R5 TEC first stage

TEC2 second stage, black

TEC2 octopus second stage, yellow

0.70 m black Proflex LP hose

0.90 m yellow Proflex LP hose

Tecline regulator bag

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/1730/8473/files/automat-r5-tec2-z-oktopusem-en250-2014.jpg?v=1791645678
