The Side 16 Avenger Maya is Tecline's standard Avenger finished with a white calavera skull design on black and Calavera Maya embroidery, so the rig is easy to pick out. Underneath it is the same 16 kg flat-profile sidemount system, built to sit low behind the diver and slip through tight sections. It is at home on a cenote trip where cylinders are handed down from the edge, on a sidemount course in a local quarry, and on a reef dive where two aluminium cylinders give a longer bottom time. Four built-in pockets carry 10 kg of lead, a removable butt plate takes steel cylinders or accessories, and the 33 cm K-type inflator mounts left or right. The rear quick-release valve dumps gas with the diver flat or head-down, and five stainless D-rings take the clips. It is made from Cordura 1000D to EN 1809.
