wichard-hr-quick-release-snap-shackle-large-bail-120-mm
HR Quick Release Snap Shackle with Large Bail 120 mm

Description

A quick release snap shackle lets a heavily loaded line be freed with a simple pull on a lanyard, which is why it is a favourite for spinnaker work and for attaching several sheets at once. This Wichard shackle is forged in HR stainless steel, grade 17-4 PH, with a large bail so more than one line can be attached. The opening is made by pulling the lanyard, and a swivel allows the shackle to rotate freely so lines are less likely to twist. It is 120 mm long and has outstanding working and breaking loads for its size. It suits racing and cruising sailors who run spinnaker sheets and other loaded lines and want a fast, dependable release. The maker's data gives no working load figures, so the rating should be confirmed before use.

Features

Material: forged HR stainless steel, grade 17-4 PH

Type: quick release snap shackle with large bail

Length: 120 mm

Opening: pull on lanyard

Swivel: free rotation

What's Included

One HR quick release snap shackle with large bail 120 mm

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/1730/8473/files/wichard-hr-quick-release-snap-shackle-large-bail-120-mm-photo.jpg?v=1794041355
