wichard-hr-snap-shackle-webbing-swivel-80-mm
HR Snap Shackle with Webbing Swivel 80 mm

Description

This HR snap shackle has a swivel eye shaped to take webbing. It is forged in 17-4 PH stainless steel, the high-resistance grade the maker uses for its HR range, and has a length of 80 mm. The flat design of the swivel lets a strap be attached directly, and the swivel turns freely so a sail can find its best orientation without twisting the line. The plunger pin is captive in the hook and cannot become detached, and the shackle is easy to open by pulling the plunger pin, with the option of attaching a lanyard to the ring for opening from a distance. The maker lists excellent working and breaking loads but no figures in the supplier data, so confirm the load rating before using it for a critical job. It suits a sailor who needs a quick-release connection between a sail, strop or webbing strap and a halyard or sheet.

Features

Length: 80 mm

Material: forged 17-4 PH stainless steel (HR grade)

Eye: swivel, flat shape for webbing

Pin: captive plunger pin, cannot be lost

Opening: pull the plunger pin, lanyard can be attached

What's Included

One snap shackle with webbing swivel

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0934/1730/8473/files/wichard-hr-snap-shackle-webbing-swivel-80-mm-1.jpg?v=1794041395
