The Scuba Refresher program is the perfect way to update your dive skills and knowledge regardless of your accreditation from your Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. Whether you want a few reminders or need to go over the basics, our Scuba Refresher is personalized for you. You conveniently review scuba diving concepts and then go diving with a PADI Professional. It’s quick and easy and a good way to prepare for your next course or get ready for a diving holiday. Dive shops appreciate seeing a recent refresher date in your log book because it means you’re ready to dive in.

Your certification does not expire. Participation in Scuba Refresher is not mandatory but recommended as an easy way to refresh your foundational scuba safety knowledge and skills if you haven’t been diving in a while.

Description

What will you learn?

By doing a Scuba Refresher you’ll immerse yourself in dive scenarios and make decisions that test your understanding of important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management.

In the water your PADI Professional will help you regain comfort and confidence in scuba diving. You’ll practice a few safety-related skills and then go over anything you specifically want to review.

What gear will you use?

You’ll use basic scuba gear including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, BCD and a scuba cylinder. The exposure protection you need will depend on whether you dive in a pool, confined water or open water dive site. Scuba Evolution will explain other equipment you may need for your Scuba Refresher.

Additional information

Course Includes:

• Exclusive use of soft gear which includes a Weight belt, Mask, Snorkel and Fins
• Exclusive use of hard gear which includes a ScubaPro BCD, Air system and a Cylinder

Prerequisites:

• Certified as a Qualified Diver regardless of the institution
• Minimum Age – 13 years old

Required Documentation:

Once you have completed your purchase we will send you a confirmation of order email as well as a link with the required administration documentation. Please fill them in and hand them to your PADI professional at the start of your new certification course.

Note:

Due to personal hygiene the course excludes use of a wetsuit and booties. We do recommend that you acquire your own wetsuit and booties prior to the start date of your course however we can assist you with these items at competitive prices.
