The Shearwater Peregrine Black is a recreational and extended-range dive computer built for divers who want the core Shearwater display and dive-planning capability without the cost of air integration or a digital compass. It's depth rated to 120m, weighs 122g, and measures 77mm x 68mm x 25mm. This standard Black/Cyan colourway ships with a standard-length black strap and matching black shock cord, without the colour-matched extras included on the Adventures Edition variants.

The computer runs a 2.2-inch full-colour LCD at 320 x 240 resolution, operated through two 316 stainless steel buttons. It supports Air, single-gas Nitrox up to 40%, user-selectable 3-Gas Nitrox up to 100% O2, and Gauge mode with a resettable stopwatch, run on the Bühlmann ZHL-16C algorithm with adjustable gradient factors. Both a quick NDL planner and a full decompression planner are built in, and the computer does not lock out for dive plan deviations. It does not include a Tec mode. Power comes from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, rated for up to 30 hours per charge on medium brightness, topped up via the included USB wireless charging station. Dive log capacity runs to approximately 200 hours.

Alerts are vibration-only, with no separate audible alarm. Data syncs wirelessly via Bluetooth to the Shearwater Cloud app for dive log downloads and firmware updates, supported across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android. This model has no air integration and no compass; divers who want tank pressure monitoring and navigation built in should look at the Peregrine TX instead.
