The Shearwater Peregrine Adventures Edition Dark is a recreational and light technical dive computer, built around the same core electronics as the standard Peregrine but finished in a colour-coded ballistic nylon case, strap set, and shock cord. It's depth rated to 120m and weighs 122g, positioned for divers wanting the full-colour Shearwater display without air integration or a digital compass. It does not include a Tec mode, though its Air, Nitrox, and 3-Gas Nitrox modes cover a broad range of recreational and extended-range diving.

The computer runs a 2.2-inch full-colour LCD at 320 x 240 resolution, with automatic screen brightness and user-adjustable font colours. The display can be inverted for divers who prefer to wear the unit on their opposite wrist. Dive modes include Air, Nitrox up to 40%, 3-Gas Nitrox up to 100% O2, and Gauge with a resettable stopwatch, run on the Bühlmann ZHL-16C algorithm with adjustable gradient factors and no lockout for dive plan deviations. A quick NDL planner and full decompression planner are built in. Power comes from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, rated for up to 30 hours per charge at medium brightness, topped up via an included USB-C wireless charging station.

Dive log capacity runs to approximately 200 hours. Data transfers wirelessly via Bluetooth to the Shearwater Cloud app, with firmware updates delivered the same way. Navigation is handled through two polished stainless steel buttons, styled to match the strap buckles on this edition. The Dark colourway includes matching accent strap retainers and an additional colour-matched strap set, along with a wetsuit-length strap for warm-water diving. This unit does not support air integration; divers who want tank pressure monitoring should look at the Peregrine TX instead.
