CYCLONE + SPHERA X FREEDIVING SET - BLACK

This Aqua Lung set puts the Cyclone X fins, Sphera X mask and Wrap snorkel together in black and sand. It is a freediving pairing, chosen for low internal volume and an uninterrupted view of the line.

The Cyclone X is a modular freediving fin whose thermoplastic blades come off the soft rubber foot pockets, so a long fin travels in a carry-on rather than a checked bag. The Sphera X carries curved Plexisol lenses for 180 degrees of distortion-free vision, treated against fogging and scratching, on a strap shaped to the back of the head so it stays put through a duck dive. The Wrap snorkel rolls into a fist-sized case, supplied, and clears by blast because it carries no purge valve.

The result is a mask and snorkel matched at the counter, which counts for more on a deep descent than either piece does alone.

Sizing runs UK 3.5–4.5 to UK 11–12 on the Cyclone X fins; the mask and snorkel are one size. Supplied as Cyclone X fins in sand, Sphera X mask in black and Wrap snorkel in black. Wetsuit, weights and a lanyard are separate. At R4,348 the set saves R536.99 on the parts bought singly.
