Description

Anything carried loose on a dive is eventually dropped, and at depth that means gone. This coiled lanyard tethers a camera, torch, writing slate or similar to the BCD, so it can be carried through the dive and stays attached until it is wanted. The spiral shape is what makes it practical rather than a nuisance: it retracts into very little space and does not tangle the way a straight cord does, so it is not hanging in loops waiting to snag. Clip snaps allow fast attachment, and the quick-release buckle can be operated wearing gloves, which is the test any release has to pass to be worth having. It extends to around 1 metre, or 3 feet, and supports up to 50 kg, or 110 lb, so it is rated well beyond anything a diver will hang on it. Supplied in metal finish. It suits a diver carrying a camera or torch that must not be lost.
