X-Vision Corrective Lens

Description

Short sight shows first underwater when a dive computer turns into a blur at arm's length, and a Mares corrective lens replaces the standard lens in an X-Vision or X-Vision Ultra Liquidskin mask with one of a set dioptre strength. Mares list optical lenses for both masks and state that their mask design makes lenses quick and easy to install. Lenses are sold one at a time, left or right, so each eye can take its own correction, and the range here runs from -1.0 to -5.0 for short sight and from +1.5 to +3.0 for reading correction. A short-sighted diver can read a buddy's hand signals and a slate clearly, and a diver who needs reading glasses can check gauges and camera settings without guessing. The X-Vision Mid 2.0 takes a different lens. A diver unsure of the right strength should confirm a current prescription with an optometrist before ordering. It suits an X-Vision or X-Vision Ultra Liquidskin owner who wants the mask to correct their eyesight.
