Venom Dry Backpack

Description

The awkward part of a dive day is the return trip, when a soaking wetsuit has to travel in the same bag as a wallet. The Venom separates them properly: the main roll-top compartment is waterproof PVC tarpaulin, built for a wetsuit and wet gear, and welded onto the front is a separate 5 litre compartment split into two pockets, a larger one and a smaller one for a wallet and small items. Welded rather than stitched is what keeps the water on the correct side of that division. Capacity is 30 litres in the main compartment. A mesh pocket takes a bottle, D-rings on the bottom allow the pack to be hung upside down to dry, which is how it stops smelling, and an elastic cord on the top flap carries anything too long to go inside. That answers a shore dive, a surf session and a paddle. It suits a diver carrying wet kit home alongside dry valuables.
