Life gets busy, and sometimes time away from diving can leave your skills feeling rusty. The PADI ReActivate program is designed to help you get back in the water with confidence, whether you’ve taken a break for months or years.
This flexible refresher is perfect for certified divers who haven’t dived for a while and want to review essential skills and knowledge. Through easy-to-follow online learning, you can revisit key diving concepts at your own pace before getting back in the water.
Your practical session takes place in our indoor heated pool, where our experienced instructors will guide you through fundamental scuba skills and safety procedures. This hands-on refresher ensures you’re comfortable and ready to enjoy diving again safely.
When you complete the program, you’ll receive a Re-Activated Dive Card that shows you’ve refreshed your skills, plus 12 months’ access to the PADI Club community for ongoing support and diving benefits.
Once refreshed, your updated skills and Re-Activated Dive Card enable you to confidently explore dive sites anywhere in the world, including popular destinations like Sodwana Bay, Mozambique and Aliwal Shoal. Locally, you can also choose to dive at Bass Lake Adventures or Miracle Waters.

What You Can Do With This Program
PADI ReActivate helps you regain your diving skills and confidence, allowing you to dive safely after a break. It’s recognised worldwide and is a great step before planning your next dive adventures or specialty courses. You also gain access to PADI Club for a year, connecting you with fellow divers and exclusive offers.
Prerequisites
- Must be a certified diver.
- Have not dived for 6 months or more.
- Good health and fitness to dive.
What It Entails
Begin by completing the PADI ReActivate online refresher at your own pace, reviewing core diving knowledge and skills.
Following this, you will attend a practical refresher session in our indoor heated pool where you’ll practice key scuba skills under instructor supervision. Once refreshed, you’ll receive your Re-Activated Dive Card and 12 months’ access to the PADI Club.
You can then choose to dive locally at Bass Lake Adventures or Miracle Waters, or confidently explore dive sites worldwide including Sodwana Bay, Mozambique and Aliwal Shoal.

Is the scuba gear you sell covered by a warranty?
Yes, all the scuba gear we sell is covered by the manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period varies depending on the brand and product. If you experience a warranty issue, please contact our customer support team with your order number, details of the issue and any supporting photos or videos. We will then guide you through the warranty claim process.
What is your return and exchange policy if something doesn't fit?
We want you to love your gear! If something isn't right, please visit our Returns & Exchanges page for detailed instructions on how to return or exchange items within 7 days. Please note that items must be unused and in their original condition. Certain products may not be eligible for return due to hygiene reasons. Check our policy for specifics!
What are your shipping costs and delivery times within South Africa?
We offer straightforward shipping within South Africa. For all orders under R1000, a flat rate of R150 will be applied. The good news is that shipping is free for all orders of R1000 or more! For major cities, we aim for delivery within 2-3 business days after your order has been processed and shipped. Please note that outlying areas may take slightly longer.
