Rotor 275 Flying Disc

Description

A rigid plastic rim stings on a hard catch, and that is what ends an afternoon early with children. This one is moulded from MONPRENE elastomer, the same material family used on the Hydros harness, with a soft Bumper Zone running around the rim to take the impact instead. At 275 mm across it is a full-size disc rather than a pocket one, and a moulded Grip-Lip edge sits under the fingers for a clean release on the throw. It floats, so a bad throw off a boat or a jetty leaves it on the surface rather than on the bottom, and MONPRENE is unaffected by sun and salt, which is why the same compound turns up on dive harnesses. The elastomer is 100 percent recyclable and the disc is made in South Africa, packing flat in a gear bag. Eight colours are stocked, sold singly. It is not weighted to sink like a dive ring. It suits a family or a group on a beach or a boat.
