Changing Mat

Description

Grit in a drysuit zip will have it leaking sooner than anything else, and replacing a zip costs many times what a mat does. This one solves the least glamorous problem in diving, which is where to stand while getting changed: cut large enough to change on and still fold small enough to pack, so seals stay clear of sand and a car boot stays clear of gravel. The fabric is a hardwearing PVC rather than a coated textile, so grit cannot work its way into a weave and stay there, and the surface wipes clean. It rolls up and secures with attached elasticated loops. Rolled out, there is room to stand on it and to keep a suit and a pair of boots off the ground at the same time. Black, with the Fourth Element logo printed across it, in a single size. Fourth Element publish no dimensions or weight, so none are stated here rather than estimated. It suits a diver changing on gravel or sand.
