Description

Kick style changes through a dive, and the central panel here changes with it. Branded Auto-Adjust, it counter-pivots according to effort, taking a milder angle of attack on a gentle kick and a sharper one at full power. Twin-tip winglets on the blade edges add control on frog and alternate kicks, which is where the earlier Seawing gave least. Construction is two-piece, blade and foot pocket moulded separately and joined by lock plates, so the fins pack flat, which is worth real money on a flight to Sodwana or Ponta where baggage allowance runs out before the gear does. A cracked pocket is also replaced on its own, and the same blade accepts an optional full foot pocket to convert an open heel pair for warm water. The design won a Red Dot Award for product design. Ten variants are stocked, black and white in XS to XL. This open heel version calls for dive boots. It suits a travelling diver who varies kick style.
