Supernova Set

Description

This is the top of SCUBAPRO's recreational fin range rather than a light travel fin, which is what separates the set from the GO Sport version. The Supernova blade carries a flexible central panel, branded Auto-Adjust, that counter-pivots with kicking strength and holds the angle of attack inside the 40 to 50 degree band, so a cruising kick stays easy while a sprint against a Cape surge still finds power. A Hydra-loop channel routes water rearwards and twin-tip winglets steady the fin on frog and alternate kicks. Blade and foot pocket are moulded separately in Monprene and joined by a Socket-Lock system, so a fin this size still drops into a carry-on bag, which a one-piece cannot. The Zoom is a low-volume dual-lens mask taking user-changeable optical lenses, and the Vent 2 snorkel has a splashguard top and a purge below the mouthpiece. The foot pocket is boot-fit, so dive boots are needed and sold separately. It suits a diver doing serious water time rather than one trip a year.
