MK17 EVO 2/C370 (Colour Frame)

Description

Cape kelp and a silted harbour are the conditions this set is built for. The MK17 EVO 2 seals its mechanism inside a dry chamber closed by a dual diaphragm on a twin spring layout, so only the outer diaphragm ever meets the water and nothing that can freeze or seize is exposed to it. A rib on the forged chrome-plated marine-grade brass body raises heat exchange. Two opposing high pressure ports sit at 15 degrees and take a SCUBAPRO transmitter directly. It weighs 797 grams in INT 232 at 9.2 to 9.8 bar intermediate pressure. The C370 in front is the redesigned version with a graphite polymer front frame the diver can change, and its air-balanced valve holds inhalation effort even as the cylinder drains. The coaxial dive and pre-dive lever shuts off venturi assistance at the surface so an unattended second stage does not free flow on the deck. It suits a diver working cold or contaminated water.
