R2 TEC1 Regulator

Description

A regulator that is only comfortable in warm water turns every winter dive at an inland site into a gamble on free-flows and stiff breathing. The R2 TEC1 pairs Tecline's most versatile first stage with a second stage built for cold water, both to EN 250A. The R2 TEC first stage is a balanced diaphragm with a dry chamber and cold kit, a 360 degree turret carrying four LP and two HP ports, and a 9.0 bar intermediate pressure in chrome-plated marine bronze. The TEC1 second stage is pneumatically balanced, with a venturi knob, a breathing resistance knob and a heat exchanger behind an aluminium outer ring. That covers a drysuit dive in a cold quarry in July, a warm liveaboard week later in the year, and a stage cylinder once the diving moves on, since Tecline rate the R2 TEC perfect for stages. It comes on a 0.70 m black Proflex hose with a Tecline bag. Octopus and gauge are sold separately. It suits a diver who wants one regulator for cold and warm water.
