R4 TEC1 21% O2 G5/8 Stage Set

Description

A slung cylinder is easier to trim and to carry up a boat ladder when the regulator on it is small, which is why a compact first stage suits stage work. This is Tecline's R4 TEC1 stage set in the 21% O2 version, on a standard G5/8 DIN connection. The R4 TEC, which Tecline rate perfect for stage cylinders, is a 637 g balanced diaphragm with a dry chamber and cold kit and no turret, keeping the body short under the valve. It feeds a TEC1 second stage, pneumatically balanced with venturi and breathing resistance knobs and a heat exchanger, on a 1 m black Proflex hose, all to EN 250A and in a Tecline bag. The second option adds a 52 mm pressure gauge on a 0.20 m Proflex HP hose. That covers a bail-out cylinder on a deep recreational dive, a travel stage on a cave dive and a pony on a cold wreck. It suits a diver who wants a light, compact regulator for an air stage or pony cylinder.
