Stainless Steel Swivel Bolt Snap Shackle

Description

On the Brass Snap SPG the bolt snap is the part that works hardest, clipped and unclipped on every dive, dragged across cylinder bands and occasionally left open against a rock. This is the stainless steel swivel shackle Termo Industria fit to that gauge, supplied on its own so a bent or seized snap can be replaced without replacing the gauge. The shackle end fits the gauge, the swivel lets the gauge turn to face the diver without twisting the hose, and the bolt snap clips to a chest D-ring or a cylinder strap. Replace it when the gate spring weakens after a season in salt water, when the swivel stiffens with sand, or when converting a bare brass gauge to clip-on use. Rinse it in fresh water after each dive day to keep the gate moving. It suits the owner of a Termo Industria Brass Snap SPG.
