Stainless Steel Slam Snap 100 mm

Description

Clipping a bag, a line or a mesh net to a boat rail in a hurry is easier when the gate snaps shut on its own the moment it is pushed home. Tecline's slam snap is a 100 mm stainless steel carabiner with a spring gate, large enough to take a thick rope or several webbing loops at once. On a dive boat it secures a mesh bag of fins and masks to a rail, or keeps a gear bag from sliding across the deck. On a shore dive it clips a flag line or a tow line to a surface float, where speed of use counts for more than a slim profile. Its wide opening also suits clipping a lift bag line to a heavy object on a training or recovery exercise. It is a surface and boat clip rather than harness hardware, where a bolt snap or double ender is the neater choice. It suits a diver or dive centre that wants a large, quick stainless clip for boat and surface work.
