Stainless Steel D-Ring 50 mm

Description

A harness is only as useful as its clip points, and a D-ring in the wrong place, or missing altogether, leaves a stage or a spool with nowhere sensible to go. Tecline's 50 mm D-rings are bent from 5 mm stainless steel wire and sized for standard 50 mm harness webbing. The straight version sits flat against the body and suits the hip belt or crotch strap, where a stage cylinder's bottom clip or a canister light is attached. The bent version angles away from the chest, which makes the shoulder D-ring easier to find and clip with a gloved hand while swimming. Both slide onto the webbing and are locked in place with a triglide, so their position can be adjusted as a rig evolves. Each D-ring is sold singly, and triglides are sold separately. It suits a diver setting up or modifying a backplate harness who wants plain stainless fittings.
