Description

A slate carries one message and is then wiped. Thirty pages hold a dive plan, a gas plan, a survey sketch and the notes from the previous three dives at once, and a team briefing written up top stays legible at 30 metres, which settles arguments before they start underwater. This is a 1000 denier nylon folder carrying those 30 plastic pages, pocket sized for a BCD or drysuit pocket. Two clear pockets inside accept printed tables. A dedicated pencil is supplied for writing on the plastic at depth, an elastic band closes the folder and a second band attaches it to a rig. It is a planning and record tool rather than a quick two-word exchange device, where a wrist slate reaches the hand faster, and it calls for a pocket or a clip point on the rig. It suits a technical diver or an instructor planning and recording dives.
