Description

Hand signals cover the situations divers plan for, and writing covers the rest. Wet notes are how a team communicates anything that has no signal, and how a diver records what a computer will not. On a decompression dive they hold a written run time and gas switch plan that does not depend on a battery. On a survey or exploration dive they take sketches and depths as the dive happens, rather than from memory afterwards. On any dive they let a buddy be told something specific instead of approximately.
