Xerotherm Hat

Description

Kit that stays in the dive bag gets used; kit left in the car does not, and a beanie thin enough to stash in a BCD pocket is the whole argument here. The knit is the brushed Xerotherm fabric used across the range, which holds its insulating value when damp, so it can be pulled on over wet hair straight after a dive without turning cold against the scalp, where a woollen beanie simply soaks and stays that way. It is cut close with almost no bulk to it, a small round logo badge set on one side. Warmth lands in the ten minutes after surfacing, which is when a diver loses heat fastest and has the least ability to generate it, and getting a hat on before the drysuit comes off changes the rest of the day more than most expect. Two sizes cover S/M and L/XL in black. The Arctic Hat is the warmer, thicker alternative for genuinely cold conditions. It suits a diver wanting a hat that packs into a pocket.
