Argus Knife

Description

Reach is the quality divers underrate in a knife until they need to cut something at arm's length rather than against their chest. The Argus is built around it, at 26.8 cm overall with a 13.8 cm blade, which gives genuine working distance while staying manoeuvrable enough to use in a confined space. The blade is 420 stainless steel, chosen for corrosion resistance and for holding an edge across a season rather than needing sharpening after every trip. The sheath is matte ABS, rugged and light, which protects the blade properly without adding the weight a metal-lined sheath would. A shorter 22.8 cm version is offered for divers who want the same knife in less length. It suits a scuba diver who wants a full-size knife with real reach.
