Description

A knife mounted on a leg is out of reach the moment a diver is folded up or tangled, which is why so many now carry a blade on the chest instead. The Grip's sheath is made to attach to a BCD shoulder strap, and it carries a locking mechanism so the knife stays put until it is deliberately drawn. Two rubber straps are also supplied for a leg or arm mount if that is preferred. The blade is small and tapered with a high-precision dagger point, which suits spearfishing where penetration matters more than length: one side is an extra rigid serrated edge for sawing, the other a straight blade. The handle is ergonomic and non-slip, with a hole for a lanyard, though a lanyard is not supplied. It suits a spearfisher or diver who wants a small blade within reach on the chest.
