Description

Most freediving fins lose the diver at the foot pocket rather than the blade: power generated by the leg leaks away in a boot that flexes where it should not. The Gara Turbo Flex uses a thermoplastic rubber boot Cressi patent and certify as Full Contact, built from two materials so it holds the foot precisely while staying flexible, and it sets the angle between liner and fin at 29 degrees to direct that power backwards. The blade itself is thin and light, in elastomeric technopolymers Cressi developed, working with semi-rigid spars that release stored energy as the fin unloads. Being an evolution of the Turbo Sprint it keeps that fin's proportions while cutting weight. Sizes run 36/37 to 46/47. It suits a freediver or spearfisher who wants power transmitted rather than absorbed by the boot.
