Pioneer 5mm Wetsuit Mens

Description

A first 5mm suit has to be warm enough for temperate diving and forgiving to put on, and the Pioneer is built around those two needs. It pairs standard neoprene with Ultrastretch panels in the areas that bend most, so kicking and reaching for a valve stay easy on an Open Water course or a weekend of reef dives, and it closes with a back zip. Two colourways are offered and they differ in detail. The black and blue suit has Glideskin lining at the wrists and ankles, an anti-scratch neck closure, Supratex knee pads and shoulder pads that grip the BCD, and it takes the Mares Fit 5mm hood, sold separately. The black and red suit comes with its hood, which vents trapped air at the ears and crown, and adds a hood keeper D-ring on the right leg and anti-abrasion knee pads. Both carry non-slip panels on the wrists for a computer. It suits a new diver building a first full set of gear for temperate water.
