Description

A wrist-mounted dive computer that creeps down the forearm during a dive is a small thing that becomes a constant irritation, and the Hydroflex addresses it with a printed panel on the wrist whose texture holds the computer where it was put. The same printing idea appears on the shoulders, where it resists the abrasion a BCD inflicts over a season. Elsewhere the suit is built to keep water out rather than merely to insulate: O-ring seals at the wrists and ankles limit entry at the two places a 3 mm suit floods fastest, and a V-shaped collar sits comfortably at the neck. The neoprene is a high quality non-petroleum-based material using a PAH-free formula, flatlock stitched so the seams sit flat against bare skin. A laminated chest panel adds wind and abrasion resistance for surface intervals. It suits a diver in temperate or warm water who wears the suit for long days.
