Trim Weight Pockets (Pair)

Description

Lead carried only at the waist tips a diver head up, and moving a couple of kilograms higher and further back is the quickest cure. These Mares trim pockets mount on either side of the backrest, directly on the tank strap, so that weight sits beside the cylinder instead of on the hips. Each pocket takes up to 2 kg, and a double eyelet lets the pockets be set at the height that balances the cylinder. Taking that lead off the belt also leaves less on the waist to adjust between dives. That covers a diver whose feet sink at safety stops, an aluminium cylinder that goes light and floaty at the end of a dive, and the Magellan travel BCD, which Mares designed to take these pockets. They suit a diver fine-tuning horizontal trim.
