Description

A big-lift wing earns its keep when it stays out of the way until it is needed, and the OMS Deep Ocean 2.0 Wing keeps its bladder tucked in with retraction bands fitted inside the bag rather than strung across the outside. Lift adjusts between 48 and 60 lb (about 21.7 to 27 kg) by setting the internal bungees, so the same wing can float a heavy steel single on a cold inland dive or a twinset on a deep wall. The donut air cell lets gas move freely around the cylinder, which keeps trim level when the wing is only partly filled. A built-in single tank adaptor and a tank protection strap handle single-cylinder days without extra parts. Dumps on the lower left and upper right vent gas from head-up or head-down positions, and the 1000 denier nylon shell with a urethane inner backing resists abrasion on rocky entries and boat ladders. It suits a diver moving into twinsets or heavy steel cylinders who wants one wing for both.
