OMS Performance Mono Wing 27 lb

Description

A single-tank wing earns its place when it holds the cylinder steady and still packs down small, and the OMS Performance Mono Wing does both with 27 lb (about 12.5 kg) of lift. The donut-shaped air cell lets gas travel freely around the cylinder, so a partial fill sits evenly instead of pooling on one side and tipping the diver. Stabilising bars built into the wing limit cylinder roll, which shows on a long drift where trim has to hold for an hour. On a liveaboard week it pairs with an OMS IQ backpack or a light aluminium plate and folds flat in a travel bag. On a rocky shore entry the 1000 denier nylon shell, backed with urethane on the inside, takes the knocks that wear through lighter fabric. The inflator and the pull dump both sit on the left, the layout most backplate divers already know. It suits a single-cylinder diver who wants backplate trim without the bulk of a twinset wing.
