OMS Deep Ocean Wing

Description

A horseshoe wing with bungees pulls the empty air cell in tight against the cylinders, and the OMS Deep Ocean Wing is the maker's classic version of that layout. With the bag drawn in, there is less fabric to drag on a long swim along a wreck or through a narrow swim-through. Two lift sizes cover most rigs: 45 lb (about 20 kg) for a smaller twinset or a heavy single, and 60 lb (about 27 kg) for large steel doubles. The outer bag is 1000 denier nylon with a TPU-laminated liner that resists punctures and stands up to salt water and chlorine. Inside, a polyurethane bladder with ultrasonically welded seams holds the gas, and the grommets carry a second ring of material where wear usually starts. Two dump valves, lower left and upper right, vent from head-up or head-down positions, and the corrugated hose rises from a fixed elbow at the upper left. It suits a technical diver who prefers a bungeed horseshoe wing over a donut.
