Peanut 13 Wing

Description

A diver on one aluminium cylinder in warm water seldom needs 20 kg of lift, and a bigger bladder only adds drag in the water and weight in the kit bag. The Peanut 13 trims Tecline's asymmetric wing down to 13 kg of lift for single tank diving. On a week of reef dives from a day boat, the smaller volume keeps the rig compact. On a flight with a tight baggage limit, the wing packs down small. For a smaller-framed diver moving from a jacket, it gives a backplate rig without an oversized bladder. The 3D shape and the positions of the inflator and dump valve are laid out to make trim and buoyancy easier to manage, and gas can be let out of the bladder quickly. The outer shell is Cordura 1000D over a PU240 bladder, an inflation hose is included, and the bladder and valves carry a two-year warranty. Seven colours run from black to camo pink. It suits a warm-water diver who wants a compact single tank wing.
