Donut 17 Wing

Description

Once a single tank dive involves a heavy steel cylinder, a drysuit and a torch or two, a small wing starts to run short of reserve before the diver runs short of kit. The Donut 17 is the largest of Tecline's single tank donuts with a built-in adapter, giving 17 kg of lift while keeping the one-piece mounting. It fits the cold end of local diving, such as a winter drysuit dive at an inland site on a 15 litre steel tank. It also works for wreck diving from a boat, where a reel, a surface marker and a backup light all ride on the harness, and for a photographer who adds the weight of a camera rig. The wing is double layered, a PU-240 bladder inside a Cordura shell, with a rear dump valve, slots for the tank bands, and an inflator and hose fitted as supplied. Tecline warrant it for five years, and it comes in black or camo grey. It suits a diver who needs reserve lift on a single cylinder without moving to a twinset wing.
